To import a Web page as a slide

  1. From the Insert menu, choose Web Page.

The Insert Web Page dialog box is displayed.

  2. Select from where you want to import the page. You have two choices:
  3. If you selected Internet or intranet site, type the full address (URL) or if you selected A hard drive or a shared file folder, type the fully-qualified path to the Web page.

    For example, http://www.companyname.com/index.html or C:\WebPages\Page1.html

When entering a file from your hard drive or shared file folder, you can click Browse to locate the file. As you change folders, only files with the .htm and .html extension are listed.

  4. Click Verify Link to ensure that the path you entered to the Web page is correct.

If the path you entered is correct, the Web page will be displayed in your default Web browser. Otherwise, you will receive an error message saying that the page could not be located. In which case, you must check the link to ensure that it points to a valid Web page.

  5. Click OK.

The name of the file will be displayed. The Web page will always be inserted as a slide, even if your insertion point was on a bullet.
